Spay & Neuter

Spaying and neutering can be a costly procedure and many people wonder why they can get a lower cost procedure elsewhere. Here is some information on how our practice, and our standards are better than the rest.

All pets receive a physical exam, IV catheter and pre-anesthetic blood work. This ensures your pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia and doesn’t need special considerations during the procedure.

Once they are under anesthesia we have a surgical nurse to monitor the patient the entire time to ensure their vitals are strong and they feel no pain. We also administer fluids so that your pet’s blood pressure and heart rate stay strong throughout the surgery.

Once the surgical procedure has finished we use state of the art laser technology to treat the incision and make sure the healing is quick and complete. We give general pain medication as well as targeted pain medication so that your pet feels as little pain as possible.

After the procedure is over, someone stays with your pet until they are fully awake from the anesthesia, and once they are fully awake they are monitored every 20 minutes to make sure they are feeling okay and not in any discomfort.

We take our surgeries very seriously and treat each pet as if they were our own. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to ask us any questions you may have about our spay and neuter procedures. Thank you for trusting us with your precious pets!
